You’ll know secrets to taking it off gracefully without tripping on your frilly nothings, how to incorporate props into your act (including using your clothing as props and twirling nipple tassels), you’ll have created signature moves, learned how to invent your own dance moves for the stage, and so much more!
This course also covers:

* Makeup for stage: Learn to re-create retro looks, how to apply eyeliner and false eyelashes, and so much more!
* Finding and booking gigs: Once you graduate from this class, you are eligible to perform in Bombshell Betty shows for the rest of your life! Betty also encourages you to reach out into the larger community and perform at the many fabulous shows in the area. You’ll learn how to approach show producers as well as what NOT to do!
FORMAT: Each class begins with a warmup followed by burlesque dance techniques, then transitions into subjects focused to help you create your first acts, including creating choreography, developing your stage persona and characters for acts, costume design and construction, stage makeup, and more! You will have assignments to complete between classes as well as continuous support throughout the course in a private group on Facebook.
Debuting on stage, relishing every moment, has truly been one of the very best moments of my life, of being fully woman. I had no idea the creativity I’d been repressing!

Burlesque has helped me realize who I am as a woman. It has helped me become stronger, more confident, and has given me a new lease on life.
Betty makes the moves accessible to anyone, regardless of experience or background. It could be your first time in a dance studio, or you could be a seasoned performer. The classes are molded to fit each and every performer.
Growing up, I was made to believe that pretty girls were no bigger than a size two. Burlesque has helped me realize that as long as I feel good, to hell with what anyone else thinks.

We, as grown ups, forget to play. Burlesque is dress up, make up, silly dancing, sexy dancing, and all out playing, in a safe, non-judgy environment.Want to give this class as a gift? Printable gift certificates are available for this series!
Just do it. You’ll never regret it. You might regret the glitter that will never leave your home, clothing, pets, and life but… do it anyway!
